On the morning of July 10, the Lang Son Provincial Center for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion held a talks on the development and promotion of two-day, one-night travel packages for Chinese tourists entering Lang Son using travel permits.
Attending the meeting on the Vietnamese side were the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Provincial Tourism Association, and local tourism and service businesses.

During the meeting, delegates watched an introductory video highlighting Lang Son’s tourism potential and were presented with four proposed two-day, one-night tourism packages for Chinese tourists using travel permits. These include city-based tours in Lang Son; eco-community tours in Huu Lien commune combined with city tours; cultural-community tours in Quynh Son commune (Bac Son district) combined with city tours; and border economic zone-based tours combined with city tours.

The Pingxiang delegation also introduced three two-day, one-night tourism packages for Vietnamese tourists using travel permits to visit Pingxiang. They also shared promotional programs for tourists during the upcoming 2025 China-Vietnam Border Tourism Festival scheduled for late August 2025.

Both sides discussed key issues such as transportation and rescue readiness at tourist sites, fast-track customs clearance for visitors during holidays and peak times, improving service quality, organizing tourism surveys, creating promotional video content, and standardizing tour programs and pricing to ensure consistent service quality.

Following the discussion, both parties reached several agreements on strengthening cooperation in promoting tourism programs; building a coordination mechanism for emergency response at tourist sites; developing common standards for accommodations and dining services in the travel packages and supporting and facilitating the reception of tourist groups from both sides.

As part of the event, leaders from the Lang Son Provincial Tourism Association (Vietnam) and the Pingxiang Tourism Association (China) signed a cooperation agreement on developing and promoting two-day, one-night cross-border travel packages for Chinese tourists using travel permits to Lang Son.
