The provincial working group visit and present gifts to Dien Bien soldiers, young volunteers, and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024),  On the morning of May 2, the provincial working delegation led by Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited,presented gifts to Dien Bien soldiers, young volunteers, and frontline workers directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign currently living in Huu Lung district.

During the program, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the delegation visited the families: Mr. Hoang Xuan Cuu, born in 1930, Ben Luong village, Minh Son commune; Mr. Nguyen Trong Tich, born in 1932, Ca Ngoai village, Minh Son commune; Mrs. Ly Thi Be, born in 1931, in Ba Nang village, Cai Kinh commune.

Mr. Hoang Xuan Cuu and Mr. Nguyen Trong Tich were soldiers participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign; Ms. Ly Thi Be is a young volunteer and frontline citizen participating in the campaign.

Visiting the families, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of veterans, young volunteers, and frontline workers. He wished the families good health, continue to promote the revolutionary family tradition, and be a spiritual support for your children and grandchildren to follow.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the Party Committee and local authorities continue to pay attention, care, and perform well the work of "repaying gratitude" to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the area.

* On the morning of May 2, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Huu Chien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee led the delegation to visit and give gifts to the families of martyrs and soldiers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and are currently living in Binh Gia district.

During the program, the delegation visited and gave gifts to families: veteran Do Van Ban, born in 1931, Khuoi Hau village, Thien Long commune; veteran Lo Minh Hoa, born in 1933, Khuoi Kiec village, Thien Long commune; Veteran Dang Manh Ho, born in 1930, Cam Thuy street, Binh Gia town.

At the visited locations, the delegation leader and members of the delegation thoughtfully inquired about the health situation of the veterans. The Vice Chairman in charge of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province wished the veterans good health and a happy life with their children, grandchildren and families.

On this occasion, on behalf of the delegation's leaders, the delegation leader gave gifts to the veterans; Binh Gia district leaders and local authorities also gave gifts of gratitude and encouragement to veterans in the area.

* On the morning of May 2, the Provincial delegation led by Ms. Dinh Thi Anh Thu, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, visited and gave gifts to families of Dien Bien soldiers, young volunteers, and frontline workers directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in Trang Dinh district.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and gave gifts to Mr. Trinh Dinh Truc (born in 1931), Na Phuc village, Dai Dong commune, a veteran who joined the army in 1953, directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign; Ms. Nong Thi Van (born in 1931), Po Chang village and Ms. Nong Thi Xuan (born in 1931), Na Pan village (Quoc Khanh commune), were all young volunteers, providing medical supplies and loading ammunition in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

At the visited families, on behalf of the delegation, the Head of the delegation thoughtfully asked about their health and expressed gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of Dien Bien soldiers, young volunteers, frontline workers, contributing to the whole country's historic victory "resonating across five continents, shaking the globe". She also sent wishes to Dien Bien soldiers, young volunteers, and frontline workers to have good health, continue to educate children and grandchildren to promote family and homeland traditions, strive to study and work to continue building and protecting the homeland, making the country increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
