The provincial delegation visits and extends Easter greetings to Catholic and Protestant organizations, clergy and lay leaders
On April 22, a provincial delegation led by a leader of the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs visited and extended Easter greetings to Catholic and Protestant organizations, clergy and lay leaders on the occasion of Easter 2025.

The delegation included representatives from the Commission for Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization under Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province, Lang Son city, and Bac Son district as well as representatives from the Provincial Public Security Department.

As part of the visit, the delegation visted and extended greetings to the Diocese of Lang Son – Cao Bang in Chi Lang ward, Lang Son city, and the Lang Son Provincial Evangelical Representative Committee at the Bac Son Evangelical Church in Phuc Tien hamlet, Vu Son commune, Bac Son district.

At each destination, on behalf of the delegation, the head of the delegation shared updates on the province’s socio-economic situation in the first quarter of 2025, emphasizing the important contributions of Catholic and Protestant clergy in encouraging and inspiring the faithful to join hands in building national unity and promoting socio-economic development.

He extended best wishes to the Bishop, priests, and Catholic followers, as well as pastors, preachers, and Protestant believers, for a healthy, peaceful, and joyful Easter. He also expressed hope that Catholic and Protestant clergy and lay leaders would continue to uphold the principle of “living a good life and practicing a beautiful faith,” actively participate in patriotic movements, and join hands in building a more civilized and prosperous Lang Son.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts from the province to the Diocese of Lang Son – Cao Bang and the Lang Son Provincial Evangelical Representative Committee. Easter is one of the most important religious celebrations of the year for both Catholic and Protestant believers.
