Lang Son Wins Two Awards at the 2025 National “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition

From April 18 to 20, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organized the 7th National Startup Day for Students. The highlight of the event was the final round of the 2025 National “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition. This year, Lang Son Province had two student projects win awards at the event.

According to the competition results, Lang Son's Department of Education and Training submitted two projects (selected from 40 provincial-level entries during the 2024–2025 academic year) and both won prizes: one Second Prize and one Third Prize. Specifically, the Second Prize was awarded to the project “Production and Business of Male Papaya Tree Products in Loc Binh District”, in the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries category, by students from Tu Doan High School, Loc Binh District. The Third Prize went to the project “ORGASH – Green and Sustainable” in the industrial category, by students from Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Lang Son City.

The “Students with Startup Ideas” competition was launched in December 2024. After two months, the organizers received 775 startup projects from students at universities, vocational education institutions, and high schools across the country. After the semi-final round, the Ministry of Education and Training selected 125 outstanding projects to enter the final round. This year marks the first time that vocational education institutions participated in the competition.
