The quality of tourism services is one of the important factors to help the tourism sector develop sustainably, it is a key factor in creating prestige and brand not only for tourism service businesses but also for the entire tourism sector of the province. Accordingly, the infrastructure and transportation systems serving tourism are given proper attention and investment by the province. Specifically, from 2022 up to now, the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee has urged departments, branches, branches, and People's Committees of city districts to focus on implementing projects such as: night economic development project in Lang Son city; pilot project using electric vehicles and biofuel to transport tourists in Lang Son city; planning subdivisions to build new eco-tourism areas and residential areas in Huu Lien commune, Yen Thinh commune, Huu Lung district; zoning planning for service complexes, golf courses, ecotourism, resorts and urban areas in Quang Lac commune, Lang Son city and Yen Trach commune, Cao Loc district; Zoning planning for construction of tourist and housing areas in Lang Thuy Van Son village, Bac La commune, Van Lang district...

At the same time, the province focused on accelerating the implementation progress of the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang expressway project; Urged and speed up construction progress and site clearance for projects, especially key projects with inter-regional connectivity such as: Road project connecting National Highway 4B to National Highway 18 and traffic projects create motivation for tourism development.

Recently, the tourism service system in the province has gradually been focused on upgrading and developing. Currently, the whole province has 294 facilities with 3,784 accommodation rooms and 6,846 beds, of which 421 rooms meet 3-5 star standards. Besides, Lang Son province currently has 53 tourist destinations recognized by the Provincial People's Committee. Including 6 community tourism destinations.

Lang Son is also a province with advantages in developing cultural - spiritual - festival tourism, therefore, in recent times, all levels and sectors have paid special attention to investment, embellishment of monuments, and promotion of the value of cultural heritage and festivals in the area. Accordingly, on average each year, the province has nearly 20 relics restored with a capital of tens of billions of VND. Ms. Hoang Thuy Ninh, Deputy Head of the Culture and Information Division of Lang Son city said: Determining tourism as a key economic sector, the city has increased investment in developing infrastructure and service systems to promote modern and professional tourism development. Accordingly, from 2016 up to now, the city has given proper attention and investment to the infrastructure system and urban embellishment. Socialized funding for the restoration of relics in the area to promote the development of spiritual tourism is implemented with a capital of hundreds of billions of VND.

In parallel with infrastructure investment, the system of tourist accommodation facilities in the province, especially the accommodation system at community tourism destinations, has gradually been focused on upgrading and developing. In 2023, the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector has inspected and appraised the minimum conditions for facilities serving tourist accommodation businesses at 36 tourist accommodation businesses. In addition, the sector also supports the construction of community tourism villages according to ASEAN standards in two community tourism villages of Bac Quynh (Bac Son) and Huu Lien (Huu Lung). Thereby, it contributes significantly to improving the quality of available local tourism products.

Notably, currently the province has been building and developing a Geopark, forming 4 tourist routes with 38 attractions in 8 districts and cities. Improving service quality at tourist destinations

In order to improve the quality of services for tourists, many tourist areas and attractions in the province focus on renewing existing products and building additional products to meet the rapidly growing demand of tourists traveling for short periods of time and in small groups. At the end of April and early May 2024, Mo Mam stream eco-tourism site and Hoan Trung community tourist site, Chien Thang commune, Bac Son district attracted thousands of tourists to visit and experience every day.  Mr. Luong Van Tuan, a tourist from Hai Duong said: “Through social networking sites, I learned that Bac Son has many new and impressive experience products such as rafting on streams, experiencing making banh day, enjoying specialties... so me and a group of 5 friends agreed to choose Bac Son as the place to enjoy the April 30 holiday this year."

It is known that in recent years, Bac Son district has actively renewed and improved service quality at tourist destinations in the area such as: Building an eco-tourism and experience destination of Bac Son Hoa, in Hong Phong 1 village, Chien Thang commune, into a provincial tourist destination. In addition, recognizing tourist destinations in the district are also encouraged to improve quality and services to welcome tourists. Specifically, Quynh Son community tourism site has been invested and built according to ASEAN standards, eco-tourism sites such as Mo Mam stream, Tang Hu Mandarin Garden, Hoan Trung and Vu Lang community tourist sites have built a number of new huts, planted more flowers, expanded the scale, and decorated more eye-catching landscapes for tourists to take photos and experience.

Not only Bac Son district, other localities in the province are also actively renewing and improving the service quality of tourist attractions to attract tourists. Specifically: Huu Lung district implements eco-tourism and resort development projects in Ba Leng village, Huu Lien commune;  agricultural development investment project combined with eco-tourism and ethnic cultural eco-tourism project in Tan Lai village, Huu Lien commune; Trang Dinh district focuses on building and improving the quality of cultural tourism products for the Hmong community (Cao Minh commune), Red Dao community (Vinh Tien commune); or like Lang Son city, building and digitizing tourist attractions Nhi Thanh - Tam Thanh, To Thi mountain, Mac Dynasty Citadel, expanding the space of tourist attractions on Ky Lua walking street; Chi Lang district implements the construction of ecological and agricultural tourism routes associated with historical relics in the area, builds and develops cultural tourism destinations at Hoa Hoi Rest Station...

An extremely important factor to improve the quality of tourism products is to improve the quality of tourism human resources. Therefore, from 2022 up to now, the province's tourism sector has organized nearly 20 training courses to improve skills and professionalism in serving tourists for more than 1,000 people and managers at tourist destinations; organized 2 provincial hotel housekeeping competitions and a Lang Son tourism propaganda and guiding competition, launched the "Tourism Ambassador" program and deployed the Code of Civilized Tourism Conduct at 53 tourist destinations in the province…

With these solutions, Lang Son province has attracted a large number of visitors to the area. Specifically, in 2023, Lang Son has welcomed more than 3.9 million visitors, an increase of 11.9% over the same period in 2022; Tourism revenue is estimated at over 3.1 trillion VND; an increase of 49.3% over the same period in 2022. In the first 3 months of 2024 alone, the total number of visitors to Lang Son is estimated to reach 1,521 million (an increase of 12.7% over the same period in 2023), revenue is estimated to reach over 1 trillion VND.

To continue improving the quality of tourism services, in the coming time, the province's tourism sector will continue to increase investment in tourism infrastructure; training human resources and promoting tourism promotion... Thereby contributing to making Lang Son an attractive destination on the country's tourism map.
